A journal for people who still read the
small print.
PAPER STATIC began as a photocopied zine handed out at concerts, pinned to laundromat walls and left on night buses. Today it is an independent journal about culture, design and the noise that makes both of them interesting.
We publish slow essays, field notes and visual stories — online every week, and in print whenever the riso is in a good mood. No algorithms decide what we cover. Only curiosity, deadlines and the occasional bad reception.
